Libby uncovered so many weird animal stories on our morning show this week (Sasquacth spotted? Wolves returning to Colorado?) that I got to thinking about one of my radio heroes. Larry Lujack was the morning legend on WLS in Chicago for decades. Forced by an obscure FCC rule to include agriculture news on his show, Larry subscribed to hundreds of small town newspapers across the country and “Animal Stories” became the highlight of his show. Hope you like it. Pat O’Neill
